A similar paving repair was just done a few blocks away by the city.
The paving repair in front of my house could have been done at the same time and saved the city a few dollars.

It has been 11 days since I first reported this problem and nothing has happened yet and now the first snowfall of the season is coming. Could the city please let me know when they plan to repave this small area in front of my house.

Please dgs, your snow plows had a hard time avoiding the repair area, my parking spot couldn't be cleared out by the plows because of the unfinished repair area and fire engines and other large delivery trucks are partially blocked by the repair area. So please dgs come and finish the repair soon before a much bigger snowstorm comes along.

There is some progress being made. A contractor just showed up to mark the gas lines and he said it's related to The catch basin repair.
So even though dgs has not put an update on click fix, which would have been really helpful, I am happy to find some progress being made on the repair.

Thank you for your street repaving request. The City of Albany contracts out two annual Street Resurfacing & Sidewalk Reconstruction contracts each year; consisting of about 30 to 35 street segments total.

The streets are selected through a data-driven approach where City engineers review the condition of each City-owned street and evaluate the overall street conditions of each City Ward. The City distributes improvements in a fair manner across each City Ward in accordance with the Equity Agenda.

In addition to the streets included in either of the Street Resurfacing & Sidewalk Reconstruction contracts DGS will also mill, pave and micro surface another 10-20 streets where a complete street approach is not needed.

We have added this street to the list for consideration for next year street repavement projects. When the list has been finalized it will be available on the City Website here: https://www.albanyny.gov/298/Projects
