These street lights have been out for over six years. I reported it six years ago and was told PGE needed to be involved. The lights were never fixed. Last fall, 2022, I emailed the mayor, city manager and public works director and asked why they were still out and the response was the same, that PGE needs to be involved. The lights are still out. This is a perfect example of incompetence across several city departments, whose managers are not fit to be in charge of. Filthy streets, roads crumbling, no plan to ease the homeless problem. Vallejo realtors making second careers of being city council members and mayor, doing absolutely nothing to maintain and improve the city.

We’ll get PGE involved then, that’s a poor excuse for the city’s incompetence. I guess next step would be to call one of the news stations, or sue the city for gross negligence, because several people have been shot on Tennessee St over the past year alone, and the issue of the street being so dark, would be a good viable reason to take the city to court. The city’s fault is being unable to see the perp or perpetrators.

On February 15 2023 the city was supposed to have met with PGE to resolve this. Nothing has been resolved.
