Deskripsyon

Prior road repair on Miller Ave near the intersection with Spring. Pavement has sunk and has created a significant depression in the roadway. Motor vehicles swerve to miss the area and move into the bicycle lane. This creates a safety issue.

Thank you for reporting this pavement failure along Miller Avenue at Spring Street. The resurfacing of Miller Ave. in 2024/2025 will take place between Newport and Chapin. The proposed Cycle Track will be on the south side of Miller. Therefore, in order to correct this pavement condition, the limits of the Capital Project will have to be adjusted. As Project Manager, I will have to bring the additional work and cost to the Capital Projects Advancement Network (CPAN) committee, along with some additional water main valves unrelated to your complaint.
