The coyotes hide for the most part. They have a right to be there. Out there all the time and no problem

City, please do not cut the rushes. They provide shoreline protection and cover for waterfowl. The coyotes are not a problem/threat to humans or their leashed pets. Bonus, they may eat a few of the billion geese we don’t need.

These plants protect against erosion and provide cover for many animals, the rest of us do not want it to be cut

Coyotes are not a problem. Its people like you who are the problem. They need shelter like any other wild animal. They are not a threat.

I agree with the above statements, just keep a closer eye on your pups during this mating season and all should be fine. These rushes should be cut down in high summer due to the awful smell.

The coyotes are coming from across the lake they are on the islands looking for food plus it’s mating season. So let’s cut the broom grass down and have the geese over run the bike path NOT SMART AT ALL!!! Been here over 20 years and never had a problem before

Park district can you please cut down the weeds by the lake.. It's a big problem..it's amazing how many people are sooooo rude and commenting But they don't live on the lake..When a coyote shows up in yr backyard Then you can say something..Animals adapt to their environment And they do not need all these weeds..I had no idea that there were so many mean neighbors out there???WOW... Mike ,,can you please cut the weeds down?? THANKS..

Concerned Neighbor:they are not a threat,,,because you don't live here!!! Why are you so concerned about coyotes??? That is Bizarre!!!! You need to get your priorities right..A little out of whack there!!!
