I agree this house has been like this for the past year, I suspect the owner is trying to restore the house by himself but is taking a very long time (2-3 years at least) to do so and I'm not sure the wood scaffolding is even safe. either way it's the ugliest lot on 11th street, but there are plenty of more houses that are in poor condition along this street.

I can see the apartment building beside it, one could safely assume that it is just the property next door to the address when going to look, the picture should make it clear to anyone in the area.

The house address is 509 11th street. It amazes me that somebody from The City of New West iust doesn't drive up to the 500 block of 11th st to investigate.

Can we leave this issue open until the city can confirm that a bylaw officer has visited the property? As picasso1 mentions, there are other properties on this street that are not being cared for. It might make sense for the officer to visit others at the same time.

I walked by last night and heard someone using a nailgun...at least they're doing something. Agreed it's looked like this for a looong time though.
