There is a traffic light at this intersection. Colonie St at this intersection is two lanes that intersect with Water St, also two lanes (and a one-way street). The intersection allows a left turn from both lanes of Colonie St onto Water St, with the right lane of the Colonie St also being a straight. However, this is only indicated by a fading painted arrow on the ground. A sign indicating that both lanes can turn left would benefit drivers from both lanes as drivers in the left lane often turn into the outer lane of Water St cutting off the other driver.
