This is pitched the wrong direction !!
Can't we learn any thing from Nascar ?
The turn is negatively banked causing merging traffic to wander into the interstate.
This has near misses every day.

The entrance to 215 to go north from east bound 201 has a a design that negatively slopes onto the interstate.
The turn causes forces to the outside
The negative slope exacerbates those forces.
I have watched and numerous other drivers are pulled into the travel lane.
High profile-vehicles have loads shift and severely lean into the travel lane.
I sat one day for a half-hour and watch this and saw six near misses.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Thank you for contacting us at UDOT. We are aware of your concern, anytime time vehicles travel faster than the posted speed limit for that on-ramp, (which is 25 mph) their momentum tends to force them into the incoming lane of traffic, causing near misses with vehicles traveling NB on I-215 or those who are trying to merge to the right to exit the interstate. Currently there are 2 signs indicating the 25 mph speed limit requirement to safely navigate the on-ramp, plus there's an additional sign that reads "Warning Sharp Curve Slow Down" after the first 2 signs.
We continue to encourage safe driving practices and adherence to all posted signs and speed limits out there. The amount of traffic at this intersection has dramatically increased in terms of volumes from when it was first designed. There are plans to reconstruct it and eliminate the clover leaf design which used to be implemented at similar locations across the country many years ago. The timing for it is still undetermined based on current projected resources and priorities.
