The single most revolting place on Telegraph.

I just walked past it a few minutes ago, toxic air quality.

The owners have big signs to discourage this. Start issuing tickets to the smokers rather than the bar.

(And this is an excellent neighborhood bar)

On the contrary, the management is very hostile.

It's getting even worse.

By far the scuzziest business in Temescal.

The Avenue's clients are stepping up their game.

The Avenue is a tangible reminder of the time when Temescal's segment of Telegraph was a depressing slum.

This bar has been around far longer than many of those commenting on this thread. It is frequented by many local residents, not to mention employees of local bars and restaurants.

Smoking is a frustrating issue, but the bar hangs numerous signs asking people not to smoke directly outside and under neighbor windows.

And, they do nothing whatsoever to enforce it, as the original photograph shows.

Nor do they bother to clean up the mess that their clients leave.

Amazing how nasty the comments are are smoking, yet drinking is A ok along with the Bar serving it. WHO is to "issue tickets"? Nobody cares about much of anything anymore, including our City "Officials". Wasting PD time to ticket this is absolutely insane. Let's not even start talking about the litter......everywhere, along with the people collecting and spreading it.... waste of time and resources to worry about this.

In the parklet, the Avenue can serve drinks, but it needs to stop the smoking. Passersby don't have to worry about inhaling beer or whiskey, but tobacco is toxic to everybody.
