The citywide parking ban remains in effect until further notice to allow snow plows better access to clean our streets. The ban will be lifted in the Downtown ONLY at 6 am, Tuesday, this means:
-Do NOT park on BOTH sides of the street on all the posted snow routes
-Do NOT park on the ODD side of the street on all other streets citywide; Please park on the EVEN side ONLY on these streets.
-As of 6 am on Tuesday, Downtown is re-opened for parking on both sides of the street, Please keep an eye out for paper postings stating "NO PARKING" Tuesday and Wednesday evening, in preparation for snow removal operations.
-If you have parked in a school parking lot during the parking ban, an announcement will be made tomorrow at 5:30 (see below). Please assist us by removing your cars before the start of start of school.
-In coordination with the downtown ban being removed Tuesday morning, please remove your cars from the Temple Street Garage, Granite Square Garage and Science Park Garages by 7 am on Tuesday in anticipation for folks returning to work.
Stay ahead of future storms and make your emergency parking plan. During any citywide parking ban, "don't be the odd car on the block, park on the even side of the street." Help our community clean-up effort by talking to your neighbors and sharing driveways.
