Main Street, Mountain Ave, Pleasant Street, Highland Ave and the worst I have seen Salem street in some spots is only one lane of traffic with oncoming cars almost hitting each other!!!

Harvard Street, especially block between Bryant and Henry. People are parking without clearing out a spot and are leaving their cars parked so far into the street that it is impossible to pull out of driveways on opposite side without hitting parked cars or snow banks. I doubt a fire truck would be able to get all the way down street.

I think the city is waiting for a tragedy before they actually start enforcing parking rules. Cars to far from curb should be ticketed then towed. Any car not cleared should be cited at this point for the 72 hour rule!! Mayor Gary do you have any responsive to this lack of enforcement in the city?? Why have the parking enforcement staff in the white cars not been sent out to the neighborhoods to cite these violators??

Any updates on when the city is going to start enforcing parking laws? It may help with the gridlock if people where not being allowed to park in the middle of many of our streets!

The city has been and will continue to enforce parking violations. Keep in mind we only have a certain number of parking enforcement officers. Are there any street(s) you are particularly concerned about? Please put them on this site and I'll send them to the traffic department for enforcement, thank you

Sprague street and Greenleaf are two in particular that seem to have a lot of offenders of the parking ban.

Salem St, Clifton St, Blomerth St, Summer St, Highland Ave, Mountain Ave. Summer Street was the worst I saw today almost gridlock. Please make sure the enforcement officers are taking a look at how much space there is between the car and the curb.

Greenleaf Street only has cars parked on the correct side NOT the banned side. The city hasn't plowed the side of the street with the parking ban up to the curb. That is why most of the streets in the city are impassable. I agree that on Clifton, Summer, Highland, Mountain, Dexter, etc. cars are parking too far into the street but where are they supposed to go if the city doesn't plow to the curb? The reason the roads are not clear is because the city hasn't been plowing but ONE lane on most streets. If this is due to cars parked on the wrong side then they should be towed by all means. Bottom line is that there isn't enough enforcement or plowing going on.
