resolution2012. New Haven's budget needs to re-fund twice-per-month street sweeping. Clean streets is a basic expectation of taxpayer-funded city service.

It would be nice, there always is garbage on the streets, sidewalks...first people need to stop using the streets & sidewalks as a garbage can...then this time of year its windy & is blowing the garbage all over..so it would be nice to have the street sweepers come by and clean more often..

They do a terrible job when they sweep! Sometimes you can't even tell if they have swept yet or not on sweeping day. Doing it twice isn't going to make a difference!

My street was just swept--and it's February! I don't recall that ever happening in my 26+ years living here. (And it's not even a mayoral election year!) Thanks, Public Works!

Also, thank you Parks Dept. for cleaning up the mess/trash that continually accumulates at inside corner of railroad wall @ Lamberton & Cedar St. ihntersection (which I raked over into the street yesterday so street sweepers would get it this morning...).
