There is indeed a lot of pedestrian traffic at this intersection of 11th and Clay and ever since the street was dug up for water main replacement, the crosswalk stripes are almost entirely gone. The nearby intersection of 10th and Clay needs to be restriped for the same reason. Additionally, at this intersection, ever since 10th Street was converted to two-way vehicular traffic last year, the number of vehicle vs. pedestrian incidents has increased dramatically.
