Exact same problem about 150 feet south of this patch. Evry truck that goes by - all night long - creates noise and has done so for months.

Maybe we need a neighborhood meeting. I have been at battle with the mayor's office for at least three or four years now about all the tractor trailers on our neighborhood streets and it falls on deaf ears with our leadership or not so much of a leadership if we can get more people involved maybe we can do something. I have notified the police many times about the speeding trucks and also the department of transportation I was told by the previous mayor that Homestead avenue was owned by the state and that was a lie the dot says it belongs to the city and if they want to keep the trucks off of it are neighborhood they can do it but as I said it falls on deaf ears

My Mayor if this was your neighborhood it would be taken care of. This is a neighborhood street owned by the City of Holyoke. Not a truck route as it has recently been marked on the telephone poles.
