During yesterday's snowstorm as everyone was taking care to drive sensibly on I-66 east (between the DAAR merge and Exit 68), here comes a police car with its lights and sirens going, driving down the middle of two lanes. Sensing an emergency, my fellow commuters and I all moved over to make way for the police car. Yet, it was no emergency. Merely a police escort for a limo with a Virginia license plate - USA VIP. Really? You are putting us all in danger on a slick unsalted highway for a police escort? Since Charlie Sheen, the police would have learned a lesson....
