Description

Two major roots belonging to a 60 plus foot pine tree on Euclid avenue were severed By the subcontractors installing gas lines down the street. The tree is already leaning towards two houses and my concern is that the anchoring roots that were cut would increase the chance of the tree falling into the houses. I would appreciate an assessment being made and a plan put in place to mitigate any possible future damage. The tree is located on the public utility easement lining the sidewalk in front of 209 Euclid avenue. I have tried contacting j, the city arborist, via email but never heard back. I've also tried reaching him in the past by phone and left a voicemail but that also went on unreturned.
