Could there be put in place some flashing stoplights on northbound & southbound Oakley St at the new single lane 12th street? I noticed today there were a couple flashing stoplights at the 5-way intersection at 17th & Oakley & I believe with the new traffic pattern at a now 2-way stop instead of 3-way stop like it used be before the stupid change on 12th St, that the lights would alert drivers that westbound traffic doesn’t have to stop now. It’s dangerous now that westbound traffic doesn’t have to stop at the intersection. At least we need signs north & southbound to alert us that westbound traffic isn’t going to stop at the intersection. That 12th street one lane driving & parking lot project is the most inane project in Topeka to date! I’m glad I don’t live in that area or have to drive in it on a regular basis.
