After confirming with the Operations Manager and Supervisor this type vehicle is the only vehicle that will service Red Ryland trash cans in Macon-Bibb county. We service Blue Ryland recycle cans with a different vehicle which requires hands-on service by workers to ensure each container is only containing recyclables. They need to start having 2 employees in EACH Rylands trash truck, so they can have one employee bring the trash cans to the truck parked just at the end of the street and the other employee works the trash pickup lever inside of the truck and then they can more easily service the disabled people because if they just have one employee in the truck, they have to get out and move the trashcan within reach of the truck, get back into the truck and use the pickup lever, then get back out of the truck to move the trashcan within reach of the disabled customer, then they have to get back into the truck and it's worth the extra money to give more people jobs in this economy and it shouldn't raise the garbage pickup monthly charges but by $10-15 dollars a month and we can get better service and the extra employees will contribute to the local taxes and economy. You should have 2 employees in every truck so you don't have to go onto congested roads and just do the pickup the old fashioned way. It will help stop complaints too and that will help you keep the garbage contract getting renewed every year or two.

Also please consider taping a list of things that you can recycle to the recycling carts or a stick on label. Plus we need to know what you don't accept at this time. Ideally you should have labels stuck to the recycling carts when they get delivered and they will remind customers that you don't take glass or trash bags etc

The labels could be put under the lid so they don't get destroyed by the rain and weather easily.
