Description
Consistent with other requests in this area, the city should review safety issues along the western strip of Newark Avenue downtown.
The five-way Newark/ Brunswick intersection in particular and the general traffic patterns in the Village neighborhood, including the pickup and dropoff near the Conti school.
In the short term, the city should prohibit left turns from 3rd St onto Newark Avenue.

I agree the corners of Newark/Brunswick/4th/5th St should be reviewed but I completely disagree with the no left turn from 3rd Street onto Newark Avenue, It would be impossible for anyone leaving Merseles, 1st, 2nd or 3rd Streets West of Newark Avenue to get out of the area.
Please review the possibility of delayed light changes at the intersection of Newark/Brunswick and 4th St/5th St. Cars are in the ‘box’ and continue on Newark while traveling East though the light for Brunswick or 5th St has already changes from red to green. This will cause a T-bone accident sooner or later.
Some of the No Turn on Red signs have disappeared. The one on Brunswick and 5th is missing. If possible can we have the posted onto the traffic light arms as well?
Thank you.
