Since this was reported a month ago and reported to 311 since Hampton doesn't monitor this third party site. "see where did this report go. Please remember to close things that you open once they are fixed.

Alpha, We know it's you. Stop trying to undermine this site. It works, the city moniters this site. I was told by a worker that they do. You know they do. Stop trying to force your will on people that want to make a difference.

The pothole is still there, just went thru it today. leave it open till the city fixes it.

I saw this today while on patrol, It was getting larger from the rain.

again Trish closed this issue twice.. If you find a new pot hole on this section of road please call it in to Hampton 311 directly to give them the exact location of the pothole

This is not the same post Trish started. It needs to be fixed. Please let the orginial posters close their blogs, that way we know the issue has been fixed. The blog nazi is closing all the posts again(gee, Who could that be...) Let the site work as intended.

Why would someone call your 311 number when all you have to do is report it here? It seems to me that the city is trying to move into the electronic age and away from the old ways. If the city wanted you to call everything in, then they woud have never started this site. Many people have stated on here that the city moniters this webpage and I have read good reports from users that have the reported issues repaired. it would be a waste of time to report it to the online system and still have to call it in.

April this is not the cities system. It is a 3rd party site not monitored by the city of Hampton anymore. They have both electronic and phone reporting systems that they maintain directly. Over on the right just above the location map there is a box that says where did this report go if you click it no where is it listed that the city of Hampton as a watcher or receiver of these reports. Also it is not MY 311 number 311 is Hampton's dedicated reporting system that has been in place for quite a few years. Nowhere on the City of Hampton website does it indicate that they any 3rd party reporting systems other then: http://www.hampton.gov/311/
