Deskripsyon

A new "fire pump" has apparently been installed in the New Roosevelt's Restaurant on State St., on the wall of the building which abuts the wall of my Bradley St. apartment (131 Bradley).

The pump turns on every few minutes, vibrating my wall and floor and causing a low rumble for two minutes at a time. Very disturbing.

It must be very annoying. I would start with the owner of your building. Over time the vibrating may cause damage.

There is no way you should have to put up with that. As a resident you absolutely have a right to a quite home. I think the Bureau of Environmental Health enforce state and municipal ordinances relating to quality of life issues. You can also try calling the alder woman. She would probably know the appropriate agency to contact.
