Description

I need you to fix this so much that I spent 2 hours in MS Paint to draw the problem out and a few proposed solutions.

The problem: We need housing and it's great that we built more apartments, but they turned what was once a right turn lane into a loading/unloading zone, leading to a massive traffic jam when you're turning from Baden onto northbound Airport Blvd. It also backs up northbound Airport Road.

We're all trying to get onto Oyster Point to get to work, and honestly asking people to bike isn't super practical until we get lower-grade, bike only entry points into Oyster Point. I used to bike Sister Cities to JLABS and it was an exhausting hill + terrifying traffic getting onto the highways. Until then, we're all driving.

The solution: I made you 3 potential solutions here! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14XdhXDDwPNQZXZ2OCeIss9qeBE2F3J-D?usp=sharing

The easiest one is Proposed Solution 2: send someone out and redraw the left-turn guide line from Baden onto Airport. Bring it in one lane. Will some people get annoyed because they'll end up in a go-forward only lane? Yes, but they can also drive north to Sister Cities Blvd and get onto Oyster Point.
