Description

This is an extremely dangerous intersection, both for pedestrians and drivers.

It’s hard to inch out of the intersection when you’re driving on Sherman Pl due to poor visibility of cars parked close to the crosswalk.

Cars parked close to the crosswalk also make it difficult to see pedestrians when speeding down Summit Avenue (which people do)

Please do a study for a stop sign

Please also place temporary fixtures to prevent cars from parking too close to the crosswalk.

Thank you!!Parks

Q. What pedestrian and traffic safety elements would you like the city to consider?
A. 1. Traffic: Curb Extension/Daylighting Request (Curb extensions are traffic calming measures which improve sight lines and encourage slower turning speeds.)
