there is no park at this location

The city just built a new park here (intersection of Bergen and Academy). Does the Parks Department not know this?

Vernon, thank you. The JSQ SID is calling if a combo kids play area and dog run so I thought it would fall under parks.

It's a dog run area that reeks of urine, which will get even worse once the weather warms up. Not only do kids throw rocks, but they also play football there, so they could send a ball flying intro traffic.

We will investigate and take action. Thank you for letting us know!

A quick update: This area and all of the concerns are being actively worked on with even more wonderful features to come.

No part of this open space is a dog run. While this is turf space to be used in many ways, it is for all to enjoy.

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. This is an active project and in the next few weeks you will see all of these issues addressed.

I want to correct one thing. While the area is pet friendly and we will have a way to keep the area clean, there is no dog run. This is a community space for everyone to utilize.
