FWIW, an exact same request was made earlier: https://seeclickfix.com/issues/15794062-traffic-signal . And it was rejected citing concerns for pedestrian safety. Flashing yellow is a great suggestion! It would also reduce oncoming traffic on Foster City Blvd; I personally wouldn't mind to stop to yield until it's safe to make a left turn.

Flashing red is fine too (but flashing yellow is preferred). This is a low cross-traffic and low pedestrian intersection and there was never any incident at this intersection before the lights were put up.

This is a turn signal that was recently added. I am guessing it was due to a concern its trying to address, perhaps this investigation can look into if there are other means to address the concern instead of further adding inconveniences.
