Description
There’s a problem with the surface of the B-to-B trail, approximately 250 feet south-east of the bridge over the Huron River, close to the playing fields off Fuller Rd.
I attached a picture – a long deep break in the surface. This break is a particular problem because it is along the direction of the trail and bike wheels will get trapped in it – it’s going to cause accidents for sure.
The whole trail is in pretty bad shape for bicyclists, but most of the surface cracks are across the track, so just uncomfortable but not dangerous – is there any plan to resurface the trail ? – the trail from Parker Mill Park all the way to Ypsilanti is in much better shape than the Ann Arbor end.
I REPORTED THIS TO THE ANN ARBOR CITY PARKS DEPT ON APRIL 28 BY EMAIL - NOT EVEN THE COURTESY OF A RESPONSE, LET ALONE ANY ACTION BEING TAKEN.

(There are a number of longitudinal cracks in the bike path. Some are quite deep and wide and would throw a cyclist whose wheel caught in one. The worst of these are just east of the bridge over the river from Mitchell Field.)
