As you can see, there are no curb cuts for disabled access. I have to go into the street to be able to get to Park Blvd via E. 28th Street in my wheelchair. The curbs need to be cut from E. 28th and 11th Ave. All the way to 28th and Park Blvd. (There actually IS a cut curb at Park and E. 28th Street).

This issue was reported 3 months ago. Nothing has been done! There is still no disabled access between 28th and Bella Vista and 28th and Park Blvd. It is a highly *dangerous* situation! The disabled must travel solely in the street and use driveways as a means to get on and off of curbs...provided that said driveways are accessible - which often they are not. Drivers don't expect to see people in wheelchairs traveling in the street and so I am often yelling at drivers to get their attention -so that I won't be hit by a vehicle.
Since this issue is covered by law (In other words, it isn't *suggested* that there be curb cuts, there MUST be curb cuts according to the law) I am appalled at the laxity with which such things are handled. For example, there are no curb cuts even at the Bella Vista School, which has disabled students! Perhaps it is time to involve the ADA.

13th Ave. and Park Blvd have the only curb cuts between all of the blocks between these points.
