We believe this inappropriate and dangerous modification was done by a city crew that came to fix our sidewalk around June 24. They mentioned the wire was in the way of their equipment, but didnt say what they would do about it. we left town for the weekend, and discovered the wire was modified in this way upon return. We have contacted the cable company (as our internet has not worked since this event) and they said they would charge us $70 to come assess the situation. It is the city contracters job to return our home and its services to the condition they found them in, so we dont believe we should have to pay for such a repair. We look forward to the crew or another city worker returning to fix the situation ASAP and expect followup should our cable service continue to be disrupted. Thank you for your assistance.
