I realize that there are probably hoops that the city has to go through on abandoned property, but Oakland just doesn't seem to care. Where are the citations, the fines and cleaning up of these properties. Oakland has so many out of control issues and no solutions. If city leaders don't know what to do find someone who does.

would it be possible to clean up all the broken glass from car windows as well? i've noticed that public works has always responded very well to the bulky item pickup requests for junk left on sidewalks. but it seems like smaller items get left behind.
