Is there any way to get the fire trucks at the Ellsworth avenue station to not run their sirens on Ellsworth Ave? It is a residential street. At least not run them at night. Isn't there an ordinance that says they can only turn on their sirens when they are a couple of blocks from their destination?

When responding to an emergency, they need to use the sirens to alert people, especially on a residential street where someone could turn the corner and get hit by an emergency vehicle if they didn't know it was there. However, the sirens at 2, 3 am when they are returning to the station are ridiculous and completely un-necessary. They need to stop doing that.
