Description

The north sidewalk is closed adjacent to the new development going in next to the climbing gym. This is a very heavily used sidewalk due to adjacent land uses of climbing gym, SEIU, Uptown Place condos, and the county Social Services building. Please maintain access during construction by creating a walkway in the parking lane. The current set-up tells pedestrians to cross mid-block. This morning, I observed may pedestrians walk in the street to get around, rather than cross. This movement needs to be legitimized to address safety issues with the current configuration.
