I don't understand why seeclickfix.com would have a place to report Abandoned vehicles, when you simply close the issue and tell someone to report it elsewhere. Please keep this issue open until it is dealt with. If it takes four months, you should live with it as well as us.

I understand you prefer to close this issue. I prefer to keep it open until it is resolved even if that resolution comes from the Police Department.

This issue is not under the jurisdiction of the Public Works Department. Abandoned vehicles are handled by the Police Department. They do not use SeeClickFix, they have a reporting tool on their webpage (http://www.ci.vallejo.ca.us/city_hall/departments___divisions/police/police_online_services/) that you can use to report the abandoned vehicle.

Turns out the the Vallejo Police Department's Office of Community Services was very helpful and quickly responsive. They tagged the trailer on Tuesday and had it towed on Wednesday. You might suggest this to anyone in a similar predicament. Their number is 707-553-7218.
