This request has been sent over to the Neighborhood Transportation Department and the SPPD.

Update from Neighborhood Transportation: we continue working with the school district and with Officer Arrison to evaluate on-site traffic issues. Once we have conducted and completed our review we will report our findings and recommendations. Questions may be directed to 727-893-7843.

Im the gentleman that shot the video, the same guy issused three (3) tickets from this rogue cop! I've watched this officer's actions for months. Before i approached him! ..

Chief Holloway has asked me to respond directly to you regarding the comments about the traffic flow in front of Northwest Elementary School. The information you provided was forwarded to District III Commander Major Phil Beahn for follow-up.

The City and the Police Department take seriously their roles in protecting children as they arrive to, and depart from, school each day. The city's Traffic Engineering Department constantly evaluates traffic flow and the accompanying signs that give direction to drivers. The Police Department actively monitors areas of concern and takes enforcement action as necessary. The concerns mentioned in your email have been brought to the attention of the Traffic Engineering Department and will be evaluated by their staff.

For the Mayor's Action Center, I strongly request that this issue remain open until it is corrected and two more things:

1) A response as to Mike Frederick's reply dated October 22nd to a parent regarding his request to be present while the evaluation that took place. Is this standard practice? . . . because parental involvement in the review of these issues is welcome in other municipalities:

"Our review and analysis is conducted with staff of PCS and unfortunately having members of the public involved would inhibit our attention and would not be practical. A full report will be available after the review in response to your travel to school safety request, at which time you can weigh in."

2) When will that 'full report" be available . . . and why wasn't a licensed engineer involved in the review process?
