Description
The highway department has done a nice job resurfacing Route 7, however they have not finished painting the lines along the shoulders/curbs on the right side of the travel lanes.
There are many stretches of this road without street lights at night, and it is hard to see how close your vehicle is to the shoulder without a clearly-marked white line.
There are many roads in the Capital District where this is also the case, such as on New Loudon Road (Route 9) in Latham.
Why are the white lines near the shoulder not always completed?
