This really needs to be addressed quickly. It is unsafe turning from Monument onto Old Lead Mine. Don't wait til the houses are built and there are even more cars on the road...

Please have this issue addressed. I contacted the State NC DOT, and they said the City of Raleigh will have to look at the intersection. This is an unsafe intersection.

It is much better.
The big bush has been cut down (unfortunately, but needed in the name of safety).
You can see a bit more, but because of the curve in the road, and the hill
on the right where the bush was cut down, you still can't see well (especially in a low car) before making a left turn.
Perhaps the hill needs to be shaved down some.

Also, what will happen when shoots grow out of the bush root stubs that are left?
If the roots aren't removed, cutting down the shoots will be a bi-annual job.

Clearing the area BEFORE the stop sign will not solve the problem.

The problem is once you stop at the intersection, and try to turn Left,
you have to look right first.
However, at the Stop sign, you cannot see to the right.
A regular, low lying car, needs to inch into the middle of the oncoming lane in order to see to the right.
