This is still an issue. The picture isn't very helpful, but if you're coming downhill from the Chapel railroad bridge, into the intersection, this is in the right lane, as you're going through the intersection over the near-side crosswalk. Even putting some gravel in the hole to bring it up to level would be an improvement.

You can see the crosswalk paint in the photo. It is very close to the crosswalk line.

Here's another angle on the problem, looking from the corner of the State Street train station looking back up State St. towards Crown. The pothole itself is the deepest part of an overall dip in the street. It has been partially filled but is mostly still a deep hole below the normal surface.

Seems like the original problem is that this hole is on a seam where two separate paving jobs met up, and the seam just did not last.

Just realized my map dot is off from where it should be. This is *in* the intersection of State and Chapel.
