This pothole, located in the #1 inbound lane near 5416 Broadway near the intersection of Ada Street, keeps getting deeper as the days of rain hit us. But as you travel down Broadway the first gapping hole is near Ocean View, and then there's another deep hole just before Broadway Terrace. All totaled there's about a half dozen holes deep enough to cause front end damage.

The City of Oakland Public Works Department has received this issue. It is registered as service request #628438. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through a backlog of pothole service requests. Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. The backlog of streets in Oakland needing pavement currently is $435 million and growing.

To bad they cannot fire the city employee's and there supervisors who have know clue how patch and repair our streets. I have watched these city road repair workers patch pot holes its unbelievable how badly trained these city employees are. Our tax dollars at work over and over.

It appears that the large and deep potholes from Oceanview to Broadway Terrace have been repaired, thank you City of Oakland.
