This trash is still an issue. We contacted CODE ENFORCEMENT (at 510-238-3381) on Friday March 18, 2016 at 11:45 AM to follow-up. They were not aware that this issue had been referred to them and had no file related to this issue. Based on our report, an inspector from CODE ENFORCEMENT has been dispatched to review the issue under incident #1600957.

I am surprised to learn that "Code Enforcement" actually exists. I thought it was merely a convenient PWD excuse.

Watch out they are magically indifferent and also need a lot of prodding.

We contacted Code Enforcement today regarding case number 1600957. A City of Oakland Code Enforcement Inspector visited the property on 3/29/2016 and confirmed the violation. The property owner has (or will soon be) notified of their blighted property and provided an opportunity to address the issue.
