Please do something City of Corona!

If you look on the location map Victoria Park has the most crime. It wouldent hurt to put cameras at victoria park..

Why is there no comments from the city. Code enforcement needs to park and observe and report to police all illegal activities.

Seriously...this area of the city consistently calls out the same problems about the dudes hanging out here... why isn't this addressed??? I drive by fairly regularly and don't really notice anything troubling, but to read about it here concerns me... What's going on? I think Corona generally does a good job with their parks...why the neglect?

The people that hang out at Victoria Park, and a lot of other Corona parks, are disgusting individuals. Families should be able to go to a park with their child and not have to worry about some crackhead oogling over their kids playing. All of the parks need to be cleaned. I'm sick and tired of going to parks in the morning with my child and seeing people sleeping on benches. There is constantly trash all over the grounds, and I have even found syringes. I do not go to any of those parks anymore. CLEAN UP CORONA.

Sounds like Moreno Valley and Anaheim are on board w/ camera setup. Sounds like something Corona should consider further.

Don't hold your breath that anything will get done soon. Karen Spiegel and the city council fired all but 6 of the 22 city employees who take care of the city parks and other city owned properties as well as several police officers. There was a recall petition going around a short timer ago to recall Karen and 2 other council members. Not enough people signed the petition. Next time one goes around make sure your friends and neighbors sign it. There's a slim chance Karen might get elected to the Riverside County board of Supervisors. Remember her name and what she has done, or not done for our city. Ask Karen about the homeless problem in Corona and she will tell you Corona doesn't have a homeless problem because she never sees them in her neighborhood.
