Thank you for contacting the Howard County DPW Bureau of Highways Traffic Division. Due to the lack of sidewalks on either side of the streets, pedestrian/bike crossing signs will not be installed. However Howard County Pedestrian Master Plan has made recommendations for pedestrian improvements along Montgomery Road near this location. When funding is available, pedestrian improvements including crossing signs would be considered.
