I live on Wooster Square and whenever a company or club slides notices/ads under window wipers, this paper ends up all over the ground -- and it's a mess. Now they're all wet and soggy so it's a wet and soggy mess. On the ground. Please Stop.
Wooster square has been plastered with posters on what seems like every telephone pole, there were smaller flyers put on just about every car, and now just in case we weren't aware that there is a Columbus day event, the flyers have gone super-sized.
If anything, I want nothing to do with this event now, considering the thoughtlessness and aggressiveness of the event organizers. As Steve said, the Wooster Square neighborhood is now littered with hundreds of wet, soggy posters that will be around for weeks, if not months.
And taking this from another thread, all this posting is illegal!

Doesn't mention cars at all. Nor is there a statement including all property -- it specifically states which locations are banned and doesn't include cars in it.
PS, I once parked at a place for work every day and an evangelical outreach worker placed a small flyer in my eindshield every day. After weeks and weeks of this, she damaged my windshield wiper and I had to replace it. I left her a note on my windshield telling her not to do it again! The little annoyances like this can add up, in my case, to $14.95.
