Work Order Completed in Infor by 127420 on 2016-04-29T15:02:15.000-05:00 with comments - OBSERVATION:
An investigation was conducted on 4/29/16 at 10:43am at 6000 Redding @ 8700 Sandspoint for No Parking Signs. I contacted the requestor; Mary Vanek stated that people block her driveway at night, no parking Signs are needed on Sandspoint. The streets are concrete paved with gutters in a residential/commercial area. Traffic volume at this time was moderate. Redding is a north and south bound street, Sandspoint is a 34ft wide east and west bound street. This intersection is controlled by 4-way Stop Signs. During the investigation, there was no notice of cars blocking driveways on Sandspoint. The Texas State law states that it is illegal to park in an intersection, on a sidewalk, crosswalk (marked or unmarked), or railroad track; in front of any driveway; within 15ft of a fire hydrant; within 20ft of a crosswalk (marked or unmarked); within 30ft of a yield sign, stop sign, or traffic signal. Due to the state law, requestor should contact HPD in area when violations are most likely to occur.
