I have reported this issue for over four years and to date, your have not addressed the potholes on Oak Hill Rd. It is very sad that this city has failed to correct the issue. Fix the potholes.

The City of Oakland Public Works Department has received this issue. It is registered as service request #650185. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through a backlog of pothole service requests. Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. The backlog of streets in Oakland needing pavement currently is $435 million and growing.

Your response is Unacceptable. The potholes have been there for three years and have yet to be corrected. This is simply a matter of preference. This city chooses to keep Skyline Ave. street in good order, but chooses to skip out on other streets like Mountain Blvd, Oak Hill Rd. or Sequoia Rd. My tires have been severely damaged by the potholes on these three streets and I am not Ok with your response. I expect to see these streets given priority in your "limited funding". Streets in good repair as a basic necessity for any Oakland taxpayer.
