So I think that the squirrel's body has been squished and moved more into the middle of the street, probably by cars moving in and out of the parking lane.

Also, the listing for animal control on SCF doesn't have an option for dead animals under Animal Control, which is why I chose Street Cleaning. Animal Control only offers "Loose animal, Dog barking, or Animal cruelty." I've seen quite a few dead squirrels in streets recently, but they may not be getting reported because SCF doesn't really have a place to put them under Animal Control. Just FYI
