Description

There is a mid-size Lincoln sedan with Virginia license plate WSD9813 that was parked in front of my home on Friday, May 20. On Tuesday, May 24th, the street was swept by the city and it was moved. On the evening of Tuesday, May 24th, the Lincoln was returned to the space in front of my home and it has been there since. On Friday, May27th, an older Chevy Lumina with Connecticut plate 5081DB was parked in front of my home, right behind the Lincoln. It has been there since. Please note that the Auto Garage formerly operated by a gentleman named Richie routinely parked cars that needed repair or were being savaged for parts in front of my home so this is not a new occurrence, especially on holiday weekends when police presence is infrequent. There are new operators of the garage who might be able to offer some insight into the ownership of the vehicles. I am sure that if they are not notified, the cars will be there for months. The vehicles are unsightly as they collect garbage underneath and they are blocking residents from parking near their homes.
