It is great that action was taken, but no parking sign was put on Feagan, not Reinerman. When driving North on Reinerman approaching Feagan, residents are parking in the left lane of traffic.

Please advise if "study" has been conducted so that you can determine if no parking signs at this area are need as I suggested. I have also called 311 to request action. It has been months and no resolution. More people would utilize this app if actions actually came out it.

Re-opening of a case only opens the SeeClickFix issue for comments on the website. It does not re-open the case within the City of Houston's 311 case management system. To follow the progress of an issue, refer to the Houston 311 case reference number when contacting the city. Only the original submitter can then re-close a re-opened case.

Cases (issues) that require an investigation may result in the original case being closed, and another case being opened if actual work is deemed necessary. The city is working on a solution to provide a link between these connected cases so a citizen may track their issue beginning to end. As each department handles case requests differently, the information contained within the 311 Case Management system may not always reflect all the information about a particular case.

Once the cases are closed within the Houston 311 Case Management System, the issues are automatically closed on the SeeClickFix website. The cases can be followed not only by calling the Houston 311 Help & Info line, but also through the newly released Houston 311 website's mapping application, http://www.houston311.org - case information is updated daily. This new feature allows citizens a view into not only their cases, but also all cases within any area of Houston. Please take a look and comment on the new site and features.

We live at this intersection and nothing has been done. There was a wreck here just last month. The City refuses to fix drainage situation on Reinerman causing people to park fully on the street. Constant speeding on Feagan makes things worse. How can this case be closed when nothing has been done?

I work from home with my office facing the Feagan-Reinerman corner. Everyday I hear cars honking at this intersection - either because someone on Reinerman drives right into oncoming traffic, or because someone needs to stop on the Feagan side because they cannot enter Reinerman until the outgoing car on Reinerman moves so the incoming car has room to get onto Reinerman. This is exacerbated by the many construction workers and very large trucks in the area and by the number of vehicles that are speeding well above the 35 MPH limit - which is too high for this area. Speeding traffic is also intensified by those vehicles that are "cutting through" using our neighborhood streets as a shortcut to Memorial, Westcott, Shephard/Durham or Washington. I cannot even imagine how bad this dangerous traffic situation will become when the 3 new apartment complexes are finished and the local traffic increases by hundreds!

Yes, the traffic situation sounds grim indeed and all this congestion and chaos is in a small with narrow roads, dangerous ditches and inconsistent or lack of sidewalks for local residents to safely walk, ride their bikes, run, walk their dog, or stroll their babies.

Something needs to be done to slow these drivers down and give the pedestrians a safe walking environment before someone gets killed!!

Just this weekend, a speeding car almost hit my wife, dog, and I while we were out running.. It was way too close and the jerk driving almost hit one of the parked cars because there was barely enough room.. Do something about this already....

Has the city closed this case? Is there any point of our continued commenting? Does a new case need to be opened? See the city's comment on this several posts up - over a year ago. This case was originally submitted on Oct 2012 Someone will die soon at the intersection of Feagan and Reinermann -COH are you listening???
