Nothing new. Garbage piles up and down wood street from 24th to 26th for at least two weeks. Called city illegal dumping dept over a week ago and nothing picked up yet . Business owner and property owner for 30 plus years and can't get service or a response from Joe DeVires . All I get is lip service!
I report this again and again, it has been there a month, grows and grows, + dead rats (seriously), and yes we are respectful businesses down here, we continue to be taxed but completely ignored by the city
Currently the only enforcement in Oakland for illegal dumping is if someone from the public files a civil complaint with the law crops in the city attorneys office. lawcorps@cityattorney.org 510-238-6517. The more we are taxed the city want the pro-bono public to do. Illegal dumping, spray vandalism, tagging, vandalism, up to 7000 people living on the streets in tents, cars, campers, RVs, parks, door ways. All at an epidemic level with all most no enforcement.
