I am very concerned about the dumping here, because nobody seems to do anything about it. The pile of combustible materials has grown since I reported it, and with the heat wave this week, the potential for a dangerous situation and loss of life is high. The junk is piled against a fence, close to homes. Nobody else patrols this area. Vallejo firefighters would be called to fight this fire. Can't we do something about prevention?

Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.
