Tree Was removed and concrete was poured in its place on the sidewalk a couple of years ago. Now concrete keeps crumbling in the poured concrete area and has made an uneven creating a tripping hazard.

This side of the block has almost no trees (I think it's just one if I remember correctly). As the original post mentioned, there were previously more trees, but over time, the wells got filled in with concrete as the sidewalk got re-done (particularly toward the 6th street end.)
As there are no overhead power lines, it would be really great if we could re-fill the wells with trees once again. The neighboring block (Gore from Sciarappa to 5th St) is full of beautiful trees and it makes a huge difference in quality of life.
