I drive through this area west and east bound at least once weekly and have seen no repair. East bound right hand lane the concrete between the road and the tracks has sunk at an angle and the left lane it has risen. To safely pass you have to pull far left in left lane to avoid the lip. Coming west bound the left lane is worse than the right but also uneven.

I drive this RR crossing daily for the last 3+ years and the issue has been there for well over 2 years now. This gets worse every season. Westbound avoidable by staying to the far right side of the right hand lane. Eastbound is avoidable only by driving onto the left hand lane shoulder. I have picked up a screw in one of my tires because of having to drive on the should to avoid this deep hole.

Maintenance around railroad crossings falls between the owner of the road and the owner of the tracks. The approach to within two feet of the tracks is the responsibility of the road owner. In the case of California Ave. it is Salt Lake City. Everything within two feed of the tracks is the responsibility of the railroad owner. Classic government at work, instead of passing the buck UDOT, who obviously works with the RR and has to coordinate with them on other projects is asking the public to request the repair on their behalf, ludicrous.

These tracks are REALLY bad, and getting worse. I've been crossing these tracks for 12 years and there's never been any repairs. You have to swerve to avoid. Very dangerous.
