Yes, many of them are "removed" because my husband got tired of watching them quickly reappear because they were not dug out or at least cut off at the base correctly. He spent a considerable amount of time doing it himself. Maybe city maintenance needs to be retrained on this issue.

The referenced "weed trees" sprout from the roots of the larger parkway trees and removing them further by digging out the roots will potentially damage the other larger trees. They could have at least been cut at the base. They were not and reappeared over the shrubs in a very short time. I'm not impressed. Sorry
